Loyalty Scheme Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 24th December 2024

Welcome to the Loyalty and Rewards Scheme (the "Scheme"). By participating in the Scheme, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.


1. Membership Eligibility

1.1. Membership in the Scheme is open to all customers who create an account on our website.

1.2. Membership does not require any purchases of any products or service and is free of charge. Limited to one membership per email address.

2. Program Start Date

2.1. The Scheme officially began on 24th December 2024.

2.2. Points accumulation started from this date, and no points will be awarded for purchases made before this date.

3. Earning Points

3.1. Members earn 1 point for every £1 spent on eligible purchases made through our website. Points will not be awarded for non-eligible products.

3.2. Points are awarded based on the total purchase amount after discounts, and shipping costs are deducted.

3.3. Points will be credited to your account within 48 hours after the order has been placed.

3.4. Certain purchases, such as gift cards or other exclusions specified on our website, may not qualify for points.

3.5. We may remove points from an account if we process a full or partial refund. If your order is reshipped, your loyalty points will remain in your account.

4. Redeeming Points

4.1. Points can be redeemed for rewards as outlined on the Rewards page. The rewards are subject to availability and may change at any time.

4.2. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

4.3. The number of points awarded may change and will vary depending on the products bought and amount spent. Subject to change at our discretion.

4.4. Points cannot be transferred or combined between accounts.

4.5. Only one code can be claimed per order.

5. Communication Preferences

5.1. Customers who opt out of marketing communications via our website will not receive emails regarding the Scheme, such as point balance updates. They will still be visible within your Customer account area.

5.2. Opting out of marketing communications does not affect your ability to participate in the Scheme, access your account or accumulate and redeem points.

6. Account Management

6.1. It is the Member's responsibility to ensure their account details are accurate and up-to-date. Muscle Food cannot be held responsible for loss of points due to incorrect details and we reserve the right to refuse to merge accounts set up in error.

6.2. Any points earned under fraudulent or abusive behaviour will be forfeited, and the account may be terminated.

7. Points Expiry

7.1. Points will expire if not used within 12 months of the date they are earned.

7.2. Expiry reminders will be sent to members, provided they have opted into marketing communications.

8. Modifications and Termination

8.1. We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Scheme, including the earning and redemption structure, at any time.

8.2. Any changes will be communicated through our website or via email for those opted into marketing communications.

8.3. A member can terminate their loyalty account at any time by contacting us on the details below in point 10. All existing points will be forfeited.

9. General Terms

9.1. Participation in the Scheme is subject to these Terms and Conditions and any other policies on our website.

9.2. Points are non-transferable and cannot be sold, bartered, or traded.

9.3. The Scheme is only available in the UK (restricted to deliverable post codes only).

9.4. The Scheme is for personal use only.

By participating in the Rewards Scheme, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Additional terms and conditions may be in place for optional elements of the Scheme such as earning points by referring a friend.

Refer-a-Friend Terms and Conditions

By participating in the "Refer-a-Friend Scheme", you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

1.1 The Refer-a-Friend Scheme is open to all existing MuscleFood customers ("the Referrer") who have an active account.

1.2 The Referee must be a new customer who has not previously placed an order with MuscleFood.

1.3 The Referee must meet the qualifying criteria for placing an order.

1.4 Self referrals will not be accepted.

1.5 The Refer-a-Friend Scheme does not apply to customers in the same household.

2. Referral Rewards

2.1 The Referee will receive a £5 discount code to use on their first order when they use the unique referral link provided by the Referrer.

2.2 The Referee must spend a minimum of £49 (excluding delivery costs) in one transaction for the referral discount to apply.

2.3 The £5 discount is non-transferable & cannot be exchanged for cash.

2.4 The Referrer will receive 140 loyalty points once the Referee’s first order has been successfully placed and paid for.

2.5 Loyalty points earned through the Refer-a-Friend Scheme will be added to the Referrer’s account within 14 days of the Referee’s order being successfully placed and paid for.

2.6 If a Referrer shares their Link but is no longer a Customer (with an active account) at the time the Friend makes their “Qualifying Purchase” only the Referee (not the Referrer) can receive a Reward.

3. Qualifying Purchases and Referrals

3.1 A “Qualifying Purchase” is the order placed by a Referee who is over the age of 18, living in one of our deliverable postcode areas, and made using a Referral Link provided by a Referrer.

4. General Terms

4.1 MuscleFood reserves the right to investigate any suspicious or fraudulent activity relating to the referral Scheme. If fraud, misuse, or breach of these terms is suspected, MuscleFood reserves the right to withhold or cancel any rewards. All decisions made by Muscle Food are final.

4.2 The Scheme is for personal use only.

4.3 There is no limit to the number of friends a Referrer may invite; however, each Referee must meet the eligibility and qualifying purchase requirements.

4.4 Loyalty points awarded as part of the Scheme are subject to MuscleFood’s standard loyalty points terms and conditions.

5. Modifications and Termination

5.1 MuscleFood reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the refer-a-friend Scheme at any time without prior notice. In such cases, previously earned rewards will remain valid unless the user has breached these terms and conditions.

5.2 Any changes to the terms and conditions will be communicated via the MuscleFood website.

6. Exclusions and Limitations

6.1 MuscleFood is not responsible for any technical issues, delays, or failures in the delivery or application of referral codes or rewards.

6.2 The Scheme is in no way endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Gmail, Whatsapp, or Twitter or Facebook or any other form of social media message service. By entering this Scheme, you are providing information to Muscle Food and not to Gmail, Whatsapp, or Twitter, or Facebook or other message service and agree to release Gmail, Whatsapp, Twitter and Facebook from any liability associated with the Scheme.

7. Data Protection

7.1 By participating in the scheme, both the referrer and Referee consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7.2 We use a third-party to operate our refer-a-friend programme. None of your personal data is shared for marketing purposes. By signing up to the programme, you agree for your data to be used for marketing purposes solely by us, as detailed in our Privacy & Security policy.
